Dr. Hirotoshi SHIBUYA and Ms. Ruriko TANABE have won two Best Image Awards in the BIOIMAGING 2019

Postdoctoral Researcher Dr. Hirotoshi SHIBUYA and Research Fellow Ms. Ruriko TANABE of the Technology and Development Team for Mouse Phenotype Analysis (Japan Mouse Clinic), have won two Best Image Awards including HAMAMATSU Award and NIKON Award in the 6th International Symposium on Bioimaging (BIOIMAGING 2019) held from Sep 21st to 23rd, 2019, for their joint presentations made under the supervision of their Team Leader Dr. Masaru Tamura, entitled "Development of the imaging methods for phenotyping of knockout mice with the X-ray Computed Tomography" and "Titanium Dioxide Nanoparticle is a Brilliant Perfusion Contrast Agent for Visualization and Diagnosis of Small-Animal Microvessel".

They were selected as the laureates of the Best Image Awards, based on the quality and originality of the images, and contents of their presentation.
