Announcement for the IMPC International Symposium in Yokohama
"Advance of mouse phenotyping for biomedical research"
Joint with RIKEN Symposium

The International Mouse Phenotyping Consortium (IMPC) is a worldwide coordinated research project launched in September 2010 to analyze basic phenotypes of knockout mice produced for every gene in the mouse genome. The IMPC is revealing biological function of each gene, which has been one of the goals of the genomic sciences because of close homology between mouse and human genomes. The project also aims to provide the scientific community with mouse resources as disease models together with their phenotyping data and gene function information by using a globally standardized pipeline.

The focus of the symposium will be the promotion of dissemination of the IMPC mouse lines, the importance of mouse phenotyping, and collaboration with clinical & drug discovery scientists.
This symposium is free.
