A new BRC team, Drug-Discovery Cellular Basis Development Team has begun its R&D in Kyoto

On April 1, 2017, the Drug-Discovery Cellular Basis Development Team started as a satellite of RIKEN BioResource Center in close cooperation with Center for iPS Cell Research and Application, Kyoto University.

The aim of this new team is to facilitate active use of human disease-specific iPS cells held at RIKEN BRC for drug discovery. The team is currently working in Kyoto University campus, but it will move to the Keihanna district in April 2018.
